This beautiful Lady, dressed in white with a blue sash around her waist, revealed herself as the Immaculate Conception. She asked that a chapel be built at the location that she appears and told Bernadette to drink from a fountain in the grotto. Although no fountain was to be seen, Bernadette dug at the area where Our Lady appeared, and a spring began to flow. The spring has no curative property, but water continues to flow in this spring today and has shown remarkable healing power. Lourdes has become the most famous modern shrine of Our Lady. 233 North Main Street, Milltown NJ 08850 Phone: (732) 828-0011http://www.ololchurchnj.org

The Symbol Of The Bible For Today centers around an open Bible. This signifies that the principles of the bible are the exclusive principles which form the Foundation Of The Bible For Today. The shield pictures the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. On the left of the shield, the darkness is seen encroaching; on the right of the shield, the light is controlling. Down the center of the shield is a sword, representing the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. It is the Spirit’s Sword of the Word of God which pierces and divides between the light and the darkness. 900 Park Avenue, Collingswood NJ 08108 Phone: (856) 854-4747http://www.biblefortoday.org
Lay people founded this community in 1765 and maintained it in the consistent practice of the Roman Catholic religion, thus earning it the honor of being the State's oldest parish. Today's parishioners, responding to the needs of the changing West Milford area, aim to develop further the lay involvement and long tradition of hospitality that historically characterizes St. Joseph's. They accomplish this by expressing their baptismal commitment through worship, education, caring for the needy in their midst, and sharing of their gifts and talents in the organization and conduct of the parish and its apostolates. 454 Germantown Road, West Milford NJ 07480 Phone: (973) 697-6100http://www.stjoseph-nj.org
