A time of great revival came to the Tuscarawas - Stark County region when Dr. Hezekiah Farrell ministered on numerous occasions in the Dennison, Uhrichsville, Goshen areas in 1977. This time of refreshing inspired a meeting in the spring of 1978 which resulted in Dr. Farrell establishing Deeper Life in Canton, Ohio, where many denominational barriers were broken. Many who were touched by the 1978-1980 revival are serving today in the ministry as pastors, teachers, prophets, evangelists, and apostles. At age 8 I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease which got worse with age. When I went in for surgery the doctors said that I was a walking miracle and that I should have died months before. My intestines had exploded but the Lord healed me. Now, at the age of 31, I have no symptoms nor do I take medications. I'm healed. I serve a God of miracles. Church of the Harvest began its existence in the fall of 1993 with just a couple of people attending. The location of the fellowship changed four times in its first two years. In March of 1983, Bishop Smith was appointed the Pastor of the Apostolic Church of Christ at 1925 Stanford Street, located in Twinsburg, Ohio. During the years following, countless sacrifices and repairs were made to the small white block church at 1925 Stanford Street. When the Smith’s began their work in Twinsburg, there were just seven members in the mass choir. Since, the church grew as the Lord added souls and there became an increasing need for a larger facility.
