Photographer Lynette Hagel specializes in portrait photography of babies, children and families. The Studio is set up with simple backgrounds and props in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Her goal is to create a lasting memory of each childs' true personality. By giving the children time to play and feel comfortable she is able to achieve this goal. Lynette got her start in Photography as she worked as a struggling actress in New York. After countless hours in front of the camera trying to get the perfect headshot, she realized she liked being on the other side of the camera creating the picture. Learning from local photographers & taking classes in photography gave her a good start. It wasn't until after she was married & had her first son that she realized the passion she had for photographing people. Four children later & classes on lighting & technique have given her the needed experience. She continues to attend conferences every year to keep up with the latest trends. This portrait session captures the lady at her most alluring. It is a wonderful way to say I love you to the gentleman in her life. The session will be done in privacy which is assured by appointment only. A catalog of poses will be presented to the lady for her selection immediately prior to the session. The session is limited to the lady’s preferences of the poses and she may also bring in poses and ideas of her own. Our portrait quality compares to images and the art seen in the finest gentleman’s magazines. Your portraits will be soft focused and lit for a romantic appeal, or can be non-defused and crystal clear. It is recommended the lady brings both light and dark lingerie. The lady may choose to bring in up to 3-4 changes, more can be accommodated. A combination of Lingerie, Boudoir and Intimates, semi-nude, and are possible at the same appointment. The photographer’s props include flowers, backgrounds, satin sheets, sheer drapes, and several different colored feather boas. All may be used separately or together. You may consult with the Photographer or your lady Posing Consultant about the particular styles, soft focus, lighting effects, and what would work best for you prior to the session. The lady’s preference may also be to have one of her own companions present to help assist her. The portrait session will consist of poses of the lady’s choice. We will be capturing 150-250+ photographs during the session. We use a high quality, photographic digital format, for our lady’s protection, as no third party lab can have access to duplicating her poses. Each and every image has the ability to enlarge up to poster size. The session usually lasts up to 2 hours, including her changes of attire. Photographer Joy Strotz combines her passion for photography, over a decade of modeling, experience in television production and the journey of raising three boys to bring a creative edge to her photography. Joy received her broadcasting degree at San Francisco State University where she received the acclaimed Albert Johnson Award. At SFSU she specialized in directing live television, and was trained in cutting edge digital video editing and production. Prior to her time in San Francisco, Joy modeled in Chicago and was seen on magazine covers, in catalogs and television ads. I first started adjusting photos in Photoshop when I worked for a weekly newspaper, where I was an editor, writer and photographer. My first real effort at photo restoration was a labor of love. There was a treasured photograph of my parents from the 60s, it was one of a kind and the negative had been lost long ago. The original and the final results are on this page. It has become a family heirloon and now there's a digital negative. I learned a lot along the way. My interest in restoring old photos grew even more as I discovered an old box of photos my mother had tucked away. There were photos of ancestors I barely remember and some I'd never seen before. Since my mother had a box and a couple of photo albums full of old pictures in need of restoring, I had a full scale project on my hands. I'm still working on it. I am an active member of NAPP (National Assocaiton of Photoshop Professionals) and have taken classes from Adobe's top instructors, receiving 3 Continuing Education Units through their courses.
