EVIDENCE STORE
In 1973 I was working in a portrait and wedding photography studio when my cousin asked me to take some photographs for him. I took a day off and went to the Elizabeth Public Library where there had been a fire, causing extensive smoke damage throughout the building. My cousin owned Cranes Professional Cleaners, a company started by our grandfather as a furniture refinishing business in East Orange, New Jersey. His son, my uncle, started doing appraisal work for insurance companies and my cousin Charles started the fire and smoke restoration business as an extension of the appraisal work.  One day, Chuck suggested that as a professional photographer, I might be interested in specializing in photography for insurance losses. I quit my job, rode around the state with him photographing fire losses, and sold the photos to the insurance adjusters. Wide-Angle Photographic began in the basement of my mothers house, eventually moved to real office space, and became Garden State Legal Photo Service, serving carriers as well as plaintiff and defense attorneys. This allowed us to maximize our product offering, upgrade our equipment to offer new services, and provide a courtroom setting for client preparation, mock trials, and videotaping depositions. Paul Korker is devoted to the fine art of his profession. This is evident not just by the distinctive images he creates for his clientele, but also by the numerous regional and national awards he has received for his professional photography. Known for his soft, impressionistic images, Paul enjoys the challenge of shooting a variety of photographic assignments. His specialties include portraits of families, children and high school students; weddings, business portraits, travel photography and fine art images including black and white archival prints. A second generation photographer, Paul began his professional photographic career in 1972. He learned his craft as a young child working after school for his parents, and later from professional photography schools. In 1980, Paul was one of the first photographers in the state of Connecticut to earn the degree of Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) which he received from the Professional Photographers of America (PP of A). In 1993, Paul earned one of the highest honors for professional image makers, the Master of Photography degree . Over the years the business grew as a photo shop and photography studio located on Main Street. Paul bought the photography studio portion of the business in 1983 and moved it to its present location on Barry Avenue. BRODY WHEELER ARTISTIC IMAGES
In March 2006, Brody attended the Professional Photographers Society of New York State annual convention.   He was awarded a blue ribbon for his portrait entitled Sisters Embrace, a blue ribbon for his portrait entitled Kelli and Jonathan, and a blue ribbon for the wedding album he designed for Glyn & Michelle.  This was the first year he entered an album into competition, so he was very pleased that he received a blue ribbon. In Spring 2003, Brody was awarded two Blue Ribbons, a Judges Choice Award, and two Court of Honor Awards in the annual Professional Photographers of the State of New York print competition. He was honored again in July 2003 when one of his Blue Ribbon prints was chosen as one of the Top Images of the Year in the Professional Photographers of America International In the Fall of 2003, Brody was awarded two Blue Ribbons at the Professional Photographers Society of New York State Talent Exchange Program. In Spring 2004, Brody was awarded a score of 95 for his Morning Reflection image at the annual Professional Photographers Society of New York State print competition.  This was the highest score awarded in the entire competition.
