Our shooting style is best described as a blend of 90% Photojournalistic, 5% Traditional and 5% Photo-Realistic. The first in the slideshow on your right would be considered traditional as the couple is posed, setup and camera aware. The second would be considered Photo-realistic as a setup without David and Cathy looking into the camera and the third and fourth photojournalistic as they are captured in real time. The fifth is a Formal done in a Photo-Realistic style at the altar, and the last in this slideshow a combination of all these styles. More exact explanations of the basic types are listed towards the bottom of this text. What we seek to deliver past the posed or semi-posed images are defining moments within a segment in time. We call these micro moments. The easiest way to describe this is by taking a specific circumstance and separating it. As an example: Take the Bride and Groom walking down the aisle as husband and wife segment. One could say that is a moment. However, over that 30 second time frame there are often defining micro moments within that moment of time. Maybe it's the Bride looking at her Mom over her bouquet with a huge smile, or a pat on the back of the groom by a gallery member. The moment is the B&G walking during the Recessional, what we are also seeking is what makes that moment special. Often, it's these micro moments that are defining, and it's what we key on and seek to capture throughout the day. As your primary photographer, I will take top quality photographs of your special day, by capturing the moment in time and create enchanting lasting memories for a life time. Our focus is you.
