The American Folk Art Museum displayed several Yard pieces including our famous Rabbit Waiter brooches. The exhibition gave us phenomenal exposure. Shortly thereafter, a Rabbit Waiter brooch set an auction record by selling for $86,400.00, more than eight times its original estimate. Raymond C. Yard was also featured as part of an on-line voting contest on NBC's The Today Show Throws a Wedding, an annual event in which the public votes on all wedding accessories of a lucky couple. In the wedding ring category, Raymond C. Yard submitted a diamond and platinum wedding ring for the bride and a millgrained platinum wedding ring for the groom.
