The idea for A Beautiful Bride came when Julie Denetelli was planning her own wedding. Her visits to all of the local Reno bridal shops made it obvious to her that these local shops were missing at least one of the ingredients of a complete bridal shop. She was hoping for friendly, knowledgeable help and a good selection. She got the idea for the shop as she was driving back from Sacramento where she had to go to find just the right wedding dress.
